Samsung Techwin America has released the SNR-6400 and SNR-3200 iPolis Network Video Recorder (NVR).
The NVR will simultaneously record up to 64 video and audio streams at 1280 frames per second at full D1 resolution. The unit adheres to network industry standards, which translates into seamless interoperability and easy installation. The SNR-6400 includes an extensive expandable storage capability supporting up to 20 TB (4TB Internal, in front access drive cages) of data and offers a choice of MPEG-4 or JPEG compression while being equipped with automatic bandwidth control to ensure efficient usage of the network. The SNR-3200 is a 32 Channel unit, supporting up to 480 FPS at D1, and the same 20TB total expandable storage. The units support eSATA and NAS for storage expansion.
