Samsung Techwin has announced the first four cameras with the new W5 series DSP Chipset. The W5 Chipset offers:
- 600 TVL Color/700 TVL B7W
- Improved 2D/3D Noise Reduction (SSNRIII)
- Improved Digital Image Stabilization
- Coax Control
- And featuring the Samsung Super Dynamic Range (SSDR), for near Wide Dyanmic performance, at a far more economical price!
The new cameras include the first Samsung Techwin Bullet Cameras:The SOC-4160 and SIR-4160 feature the unitized Bullet Camera form factor, and include a mount and heatshield. Both support the STW standard 2.8-10mm Varifocal Lens, and support 12VDC or 24VAC power. The SIR-4160 includes Black IR Illumination LEDs, which can reach over 130 feet.
The SIR-4260 improves on the venerable SIR-4250, by migrating to the standard STW Vandal Resistance housing – offering you an unparalleled value.
Samsung has also added an upgraded PTZ Dome, with the introduction of the SPU-3750T. The Unitized Dome offers all of the features and performance of the SPD-3750T – 37x Zoom, Auto Tracking, True Day Night – and puts it into a sealed IP66 housing – Dust and Water Resistant – and capable of operating in harsh environments, down to -58F.

And last, but certainly not least, the SDC-435 improves on the tremendous value of its predecessor, the SDC-425, by the upgrade to the W5 DSP.
Samsung Techwin is pleased to announce that we will soon be offering our popular SID-462 and SID-562 series domes in a black housing. This is in addition to the white color that we currently offer. The black colored housings have been requested for applications such as restaurants or retail stores where the ceiling area is predominantly dark.

What’s so special about a Samsung Techwin Embedded NVR? The NO’s
No “Per Channel” Fees. What you pay for up front, is what you get.
No problems when changing out a camera – many NVR software packages are licensed by MAC address of the camera. On an Embedded NVR, just change the camera setup on the NVR to match the new unit – no fuss, no muss, no waiting for an email with an updated license key.
No server required.
No problems with hard drive failure completely disabling your NVR – the Linux based operating system is in firmware on the motherboard, not on a hard drive. Just replace the failed drive (from the easy access cage in the front of the unit), and go back to recording.
No problem mixing NVRs and DVRs in the same system – the current version of the Samsung Network Management Software makes it easy to mix Samsung NVRs, DVRs, IP Cameras, and IP Encoders, into a video network.
No problem adding Storage – the unit can support 4 1TB drives in its quick access drive cages. You can add external storage with external drive arrays using eSATA or Network Attached Storage.
No problem having the Cameras , Storage, and Users on separate networks – the unit has three 1GB Ethernet ports – One for User Access, one for Camera feeds, and one for external Network Attached Storage.
No Client License Fees – ever. The unit support Thin Client connection via Internet Explorer, or Thick Client via the included Samsung Network Management software.
No problem with remote access – the system can utilize Samsung’s complimentary Ipolis DDNS service, for easy access from off-site, without the need for a VPN.
No problem getting a demonstration – just give us a call, and we will schedule you in!
No Sticker Shock – call or email us for a quote – you won’t believe just how affordable these units are!
